The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior 2nd Engineer (LNG) to join our engineering department.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern luxury fleet and play a key role in the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of LNG-powered vessels. Working alongside a professional engineering team, you will help ensure the highest standards of technical performance, safety, and environmental stewardship.
Essential Requirements
Candidates MUST already hold:
- IGF Basic Certificate
- IGF Advanced Certificate
- Valid STCW Engineering Certification
- Previous LNG vessel experience
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate
- Strong command of the English language
Please note: Applications cannot be considered unless both the IGF Basic and IGF Advanced certificates are already held at the time of application.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation and maintenance of LNG fuel systems and related machinery.
- Assist with the safe and efficient running of the engine department.
- Conduct planned maintenance in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Support troubleshooting and repair activities across engineering systems.
- Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.
- Promote a positive safety culture and strong teamwork within the department.
What We're Looking For

- Previous sailing experience on LNG-powered vessels.
