Galley Steward Head
A more proficient Galley Steward that functions as a team leader of any designated workstation in the galley. Maintain the cleanliness of all work areas for food preparation, capable of preserving all galley equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.
Hiring Requirements:
• Minimum one year previous kitchen steward experience, preferably in a 4 or 5 star restaurant, hotel or high volume food service facility.
• Experience cleaning complicated kitchen equipment.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.
Internal Candidate Requirements:
· Completion of one contract with a performance rating of satisfactory or above.
· USPH and onboard hygiene knowledge ad compliance
· Exceptional knowledge of Clean as we go and all other onboard operational policies, basic mathematic and cost awareness.
